The Raphaelshaus in Dormagen is a children's and youth welfare institution specializing in the care and support of children and adolescents with challenging life histories. Many of these young individuals exhibit developmental delays or challenging behavior, often resulting from difficult family or social circumstances. The primary goal of their educational work is to strengthen existing resources, build sustainable relationships, and facilitate social integration within a reliable, value-oriented framework that combines Christian principles with modern youth welfare practices. Their target group includes children and adolescents with burdened backgrounds and their families, who are actively involved to foster long-term stability and individual development opportunities.

Information
The “Färberei” is a center for integration and inclusion, aiming to promote the equal participation of all people in every aspect of society. Therefore, the organization is committed to fostering encounters between all individuals – regardless of disability, ethnic or social background, gender or age. In order to achieve this, the Färberei provides not only safe spaces but also a wide range of counseling services, self-help opportunities, language and movement courses, as well as a diverse cultural program that invites everyone to actively contribute and participate.
